Andrew recently achieved a first for backpackers working in Western Australia as his company was awarded a Harvest Labour Services Contract by the Federal Government. The Job Shop has offices in Perth and Kununurra and has developed positive relationships with many backpacker based businesses. Andrew’s role with Backpacking WA is focused on Marketing and New Memberships. |

Chris Clifton  Vice Chairperson State Operations Manager for Aspen Parks Chris is from Western Australia and has spent ten years working in Marine Tourism, three years on ferries and charter boats between Fremantle and Darwin and then seven years on luxury yachts in Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. For the past two years Chris has been the Operations Manager for Aspen Parks, a national network of Holiday Park and Resort Accommodation with 10 properties in Western Australia. |

Lea McQuillan Secretary and Web Development Officer Marketing and Operations Manager of YHA WA Ms Lea McQuillan has worked in the tourism and hospitality industry for over 20 years in London and Australia. She has extensive experience in both restaurant and hotel management. During this time, she completed a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science (Greenwich University) and an MSc in Environmental Management (Edith Cowan University). She has worked for YHA WA for over 4 years and has travelled extensively through Europe, the Middle East, Central and South America, Asia and of course Australia. Lea brings this in depth travel knowledge and her knowledge of marketing to the committee of Backpacking Western Australia. |

Angela Brock Expo Events Coordinator Director of Easyrider Tours Angela started working in the Western Australian backpacking industry in 1995 when she started up her own tour company, Easyrider Backpacker Tours. Dedicated to the backpacking industry, she has been an active committee member on WA Backpacking committees since 1998. After trying her hand as Secretary, Treasurer & Vice Chairman, she has finally taken on the challenge as Chairperson to keep the momentum of the backpacking industry going strong in Western Australia. Passionate about our state and what it has to offer to the rest of the world, Angela continues to see the ‘big picture’ and actively encourages the awareness of Western Australia as the number one backpacking destination in Australia! |

Eddie Snooks Tour Operations Liaisons Officer Director of Active Safaris/Planet Perth Tours Eddie Snooks was born in England and completed an apprenticeship in Mechanical engineering, became a full member of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), worked in mechanical workshops for other companies before setting up and successfully running he’s own garage. Having travelled extensively around Europe, North America and South Africa he migrated to Perth, Western Australia in 1997. Eddie travelled around Western Australia for over six months before putting down roots in Perth and re-starting the tour company Active Safaris business partner, it evolved with just one bus and has since grown to 14 vehicles and covers the regions from Broome to Esperance. He brings this hands on experience to the committee of Backpacking Western Australia. |

Andrew Wade Hostels Liaisons Officer Manager of Britannia on William Andrew has been involved with tourism in Australia for the past 10 years. He has been involved with many facets of tourism, from tour guiding, tour operations, tour sales and has recently developed a new backpackers/hostel in Perth. Previously Andrew was involved in the transport and building Industry and it wasn't until an extended break around the world that he decided tourism was more to his liking. His enthusiasm for Australia and particularly WA is second to none. |

 Nick runs Hostels HQ - a provider of property management systems for backpacker hostels. He has been involved in the industry for a long time as a manager of hostels and hotels in Perth including Hotel Northbridge and the Ocean Beach Hotel. During this time Nick has participated in many backpacker tourism initiatives including Expos, TWA promotions and networking events.
