Train

Great Southern Rail runs a three day trip that goes from coast to coast. It departs from Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide and travels through amazing scenery including vineyards and the Nullarbor Plain to Western Australia.

A cross country road trip will highlight just how big Australia really is. Many hours and plenty of long roads will await you if you choose to journey to Western Australia by road.

You need a current license to drive a rental car or motorhome in Western Australia and there are plenty of rental companies to choose from.
